“America's standard for saying which countries can go nuclear is simple: Countries we like can. Countries we dislike can't.” In the article, “America's Shocking Nuclear Hypocrisy” by PDA member Tad Daley, the author describes the clear hypocrisy with which the U.S. has treated Iran. The White House, with a complicit mainstream media, is trying to manipulate public sentiment to allow a unilateral strike on Iran even though Iran, although belligerent, is within the law.
The saber rattling by the U.S. at Iran is reaching a fevered pitch, which is the same tone that Americans heard during the build-up to the Iraq invasion. The difference is this time Americans are aware of the wolf in sheep's clothing. But will we stop this impending attack on Iran, or will we let George Bush and Dick Cheney drag us into yet another front in his 'War on Terror' by using misinformation, fear, and outright falsehoods?
