As displeasure grows against DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the same firebrand voters who have monetarily supported Sanders for this entire election cycle have began to put their money toward Florida congressional candidate Tim Canova.

Bernie Sanders says he backs Democrat Tim Canova in his effort to knock off Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Miami Airport Workers' Union Endorses Tim Canova

At this point, it's clear that virtually all of the support for Tim Canova's congressional campaign is coming from the same frothing section of the populace that's pulling for Bernie Sanders. In March, two major unions —  the Communication Workers of America and National Nurses United —  both endorsed Canova after also throwing their support behind Sanders. (Nurses United has even been driving "Bernie Buses" around, canvassing on foot for the frozen warlock of a presidential candidate.) Veterans for Bernie Sanderstoo has thrown its support behind Canova, who is Debbie Wasserman Schultz's first real primary challenger during her 16-year career.

Tim Canova said Monday he’s raised more than $557,000 in the first quarter of 2016 in his bid to unseat Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz from her South Florida congressional seat.

My name is Tim Canova and I’m running for Congress.  I was disappointed last summer when my local representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz voted to fast-track the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

A super-PAC for nurses that has spent more than $1 million in support of Bernie Sanders's presidential campaign has endorsed a primary challenger to Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.)

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the six-term congresswoman from South Florida and chair of the Democratic National Committee, has been embroiled in numerous significant controversies lately. As the Washington Postput it just today: “DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s list of enemies just keeps growing.”

Local union presidents from the Communication Workers of America (CWA) have announced their endorsement of Tim Canova in the CD 23 race. Canova is running against Democratic incumbent Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

National Nurses United, the largest nurses’ organization in the United States and in Florida, announced today its endorsement of Tim Canova who is running to become the next Member of the U.S. House of Representatives representing the 23rd District of Florida.  A professor of law and public finance at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, Canova is running against incumbent Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

So, we’ve done a lot of complaining about the entirely incompetent chair of the Democratic National Committee. Here’s something we can do: help the guy who can defeat her in a primary this year!
