Members of the Congressional Black Caucus on Monday called the grand jury decision not to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson a “slap in the face” for those seeking justice for the death of Michael Brown.

No indictment in Ferguson case

A white police officer will not face charges for fatally shooting an unarmed black teenager in a case that set off violent protests and racial unrest throughout the nation, an attorney close to the case said Monday night.

Don't look now, but the overbearing power of America's military-industrial complex has probably snuck into your town.

What happens next if a St. Louis grand jury doesn’t charge Officer Darren Wilson? Questions have been raised in Ferguson, Mo., about the role of that state's senior U.S. senator: Did either Sen. Claire McCaskill or her staff communicate to the Department of Justice that it should end its Ferguson investigation after the local grand jury ends its own?

Police Wanted 'No-Fly Zone' To Block Media Coverage of Ferguson Protests

BILL FLETCHER, HOST, THE GLOBAL AFRICAN: Sean Bell, Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant, Eric Garner--the list of African-American lives senselessly taken because of excessive policing is seemingly long and endless, underscoring the increasingly contentious relationship that exists between the black community and law enforcement. The tension between the African-American community and the police has reached a fever pitch this week.
On Tuesday, the Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party, Matt Wills, spoke with Breitbart regarding reports that voter registration booths had been set up in Ferguson. Apparently, civil rights activists, led by Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, have used the protests in Ferguson over the death of Mike Brown to convince local residents to register to vote. This doesn’t sit well with Wills and the state’s GOP.
One month after the killing of unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, anger and frustration continues to grow in Ferguson, as calls for the arrest of Wilson and questions over the police response to weeks of protests remain unanswered.
