Barbara Lee Issues Statement Following the Presidential Debate

Oakland, CA – Barbara Lee issued the following statement on the Presidential Debate:

“We should not forget where we were when the President first took office: the country was losing nearly 800,000 jobs a month and we were fighting two wars overseas. Tonight the President showed that facts matter and talked about the progress made over the past four years and his plans to keep moving the country forward. We cannot afford to go back to the same failed policies that wrecked our economy and punished the middle class. We must reject the extreme agenda and "say anything" approach that Governor Romney offers so we can continue to move our country forward."
