Rep. Grijalva is in his fifth term as a Member of Congress. Before being elected to Congress in 2002, he served on the Tucson Unified School District board from 1974 to 1986. He was elected to the Pima County Board of Supervisors in 1989, where he served until running for Congress in 2002. Rep. Grijalva co-chairs the Congressional Progressive Caucus with Rep.
