Bruce Springsteen has unveiled his new album, "Wrecking Ball," a sorrowful and furious roar, born of the financial crisis, about "an enormous fault-line...a basic theft (that) struck to the heart of the American idea,” with no one held accountable.

His 17th studio and reportedly his most overtly political, he says it's about "the distance between American reality and the American Dream” - a distance greater than he's ever seen. It also includes, on 'Land of Hope and Dreams,' the last sax solo from the late Clarence Clemons. Out March 5.
