There will be a town hall meeting on Saturday, April 16, sponsored by the new organization, Campaign for a New Ohio, along with America Votes, ACT, Progressive Democrats of America and several local organizations. We hope you can make it! Please fax your registration form to Gary Pritts at 216-566-0192. Campaign for a New Ohio is a new organization in Northeast Ohio comprised of volunteers from a variety of organizations that worked on the 2004 election debacle and who want to continue working on activities to help turn this state and country around. This town hall meeting is presented as the first in a series of forums that we believe will promote progressive political debate and issue-based work. We think you will find this town hall stimulating and rejuvenating and hope to see you there.

Please join Steve Rosenthal , President of America Coming Together and Cecile Richards, President of the America Votes coalition, as well as representatives of the Campaign for a New Ohio for a discussion about the lessons of 2004 and plans for the future -- here in Ohio, and around the country.

Many of our America Votes partners and other local organizations will be on-hand to get you involved in their work right away.

Our morning program will include breakout sessions on a wide range of issues, including: Lessons Learned -- Building for the Future; Election Reform; the Ohio Education Crisis; Tax Reform & the State Budget; the Minimum Wage & Living Wage; and Social Security.
