NOW/PAC is thrilled to announce its endorsement of Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren for the U. S. Senate from the state of Massachusetts. Warren is the most prominent of the three Democrats vying to run against incumbent Sen. Scott Brown (R) in the general election. Recent polls show Warren neck and neck with Brown.

Earlier this evening I spoke with Wayne Powell, one of three 7th Congressional District Democrats seeking the Democratic Party's nomination to face off against Eric Cantor this November. Powell told me that when he heard what had happened at Virginia's Capitol Square, he hurried downtown to offer his legal services to the protesters that had been arrested.

Democrat Wenona Benally Baldenegro is looking to win the seat representing Arizona’s Congressional District 1 in the U.S. House of Representatives.

E. Wayne Powell, candidate for the Democratic nomination against Eric cantor in the Seventh Congressional District, today released this statement about the incidents at the Capitol.

With a 9-point Democratic voter edge in the newly redrawn District 1, an extraordinary alliance of resurgent Arizona Democratic Party leaders and rural, Latino, Native American and environmental groups has placed Navajo attorney Wenona Benally Baldenegro's historic Congressional campaign into the national spotlight as a bellwether in the state's new politics.

Although largely identified as a liberal effort, the Occupy Movement is viewed differently by the Democrats running for the 10th congressional district seat.

Ilya Sheyman of Waukegan voiced strong support for the protesters who have occupied parks and other public spaces in Chicago, New York City and elsewhere.

Keep Kucinich in Congress

For progressives, there are always a few great challengers we hope to send to Washington. Incumbents, we assume, can take care of themselves.

But in Ohio, redistricting has thrown two well-respected incumbents into one district – a heavily Democratic district designed by Republicans to guarantee other districts to the GOP. The two incumbents are both Democrats.

CWA devised a simple plan for which they were uniquely suited: drag TPP out of the shadows and into the light - one city at a time - using a medium they understand intimately: Daily Newspapers!

Two CWA members - Dave Felice in Denver, CO and Madelyn Elder in Portland, OR have started the ball rolling. We just need to keep up the momentum leading up to a big day of petition deliveries in January.

Hand Deliver a Letter to your Senators or Representative on the TPP

If your Senator(s) and/or Representative is not currently opposed to Fast Track, they may not completely understand all the implications. Nothing sends a stronger message to a Congressional member than a personal visit to a district office by a voter with a written request. Phone calls and emails are incredibly important but nothing gets attention like a personal visit. Our Educate Congress page has information and a sample letter. Print the letter, sign it, deliver it.
